Back to Kindergarten I go!

This morning I had the pleasure to spend time with some of my favorite Kinder-Kids at Wilson school!

I’ve been working with the AM and PM classes to help encourage independent computer use during center time.  The students are learning how to properly hold the mouse and manipulate through websites saved on the favorites bar.  Today we chose Kindergarten appropriate games on http://www.abcya.com.

Google Maps in the Classroom

Miss Landara’s 2nd grade class at Wilson School mapped Flat Stanley’s adventures.  Each student sent out a paper decorated Flat Stanley to a friend or family member.  Journals, posters and pictures of each adventure were showcased in the hallway for all at Wilson School to see.  If you weren’t able to see the display visit Miss Landara’s  Map to see the many locations around the world visited!
